Qonto moves its new headquarters to the latest WeWork building to accelerate its growth

Europe’s leading provider of business financing solutions has moved into the entire new WeWork space in Paris

Paris, September 15, 2022. Today, WeWork (NYSE: WE), one of the leading global flexible space providers, and Qonto, Europe’s leading corporate financial management company, today announced the arrival of Qonto at WeWork 18 rue de Navarin in Paris.

The French company, founded in 2016 by Steve Anavi and Alexandre Prot, raised a record €486 million this year – becoming France’s 24th unicorn, consolidating its hyper growth and international expansion. Since its inception, Qonto has trusted WeWork to host its growing teams and attract more talent, both in France and for its international deployment. In 2021, the company expanded into the Italian and Spanish markets by joining WeWork locations respectively in Milan and Barcelona, and earlier this year in Germany.

By setting up its Paris headquarters with over 600 positions at WeWork 18 rue de Navarin, Qonto is confirming itself as an innovative and forward-thinking company, embracing the new standards of flexibility and collaboration that are shaping the future of work, both for the well-being of its employees and to support its growth.

Opened in July 2022, 18 rue de Navarin is strategically located in the heart of the 9th arrondissement’s shopping district, just a few steps from the emblematic rue des Martyrs. Qonto’s new headquarters will remain in the Silicon 9eme, a district so renamed as it is becoming increasingly popular with tech companies for its extensive local network and rich offer of local services.

“As working methods evolve towards greater flexibility, the office is more than ever a place for exchange and meetings. We are delighted to have collaborated once again with WeWork to design Qonto’s new Paris headquarters, which is fully in line with this philosophy, with shared work spaces alongside living spaces,” said Sarah Ben Allel, VP People at Qonto. “This new headquarters matches Qonto’s hypergrowth trajectory, while giving our talent a positive environment where they can work in the best conditions and feel good about their workplace.”

As part of the deal, Qonto and WeWork partnered on five full floors with custom designs, meeting the needs of a dynamic team of employees and its hybrid work model. 18 rue de Navarin reflects Qonto’s unique branding throughout the building, including a private outdoor space. The premise also includes common areas throughout the building, notably lounge areas, reading nooks, phcone booths for private calls, conference rooms and more.

Rebecca Nachanakian, General Manager of WeWork Southern Europe, Benelux & Nordics said, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Qonto and welcome them to our new building at 18 rue de Navarin. It’s particularly exciting to see a major French tech player – in the midst of hyper growth – recognize the value of flexible spaces at a time when the conversation around the office has never been more important. By combining our design expertise with Qonto’s needs for their workplace, we’ve created a bespoke space that will allow the Qonto team to thrive within our community in Paris.”
