Looking for a chance to take your business to the next level? Salesforce is seeking out trailblazing companies to compete for a $10,000 prize and the opportunity to be featured in Inc. magazine.
Salesforce is looking for “small businesses that have come up with some cutting-edge solutions that will revolutionize our lives,” says Kelly James, product and marketing director at the San Francisco-based cloud technology company.
How do you apply? Send in a quick elevator pitch about your company, along with notes about what inspires you, how you’re being innovative in your field, and what you’ll do with the prize money. You should submit responses to these questions by Dec. 9.
Salesforce will select five entrepreneurs to pitch their companies at a one-day pop-up event called Small Business Basecamp, which will be held in New York City on Dec. 14. Judges will include Inc. Editor Jim Ledbetter and Salesforce Vice President Jamie Domenici.
The contest is open to all small and medium-sized businesses, who must be able to send a representative to the New York pitch event. James says that Salesforce—which has space in WeWork buildings in New York, Denver, Austin, and Seattle—is encouraging other WeWork members to apply.
“We believe there are so many amazing ideas that come out of this community,” James says. “We want to put the spotlight on WeWork and also showcase the awesomeness that comes from it.”
