Inclusion at WeWork

WeWork was built on the idea that we are better, together. Since day one, community has been at our core. From the design of our spaces to our programming, we strive to be a place where every individual — regardless of their background, color of their skin, gender, political or religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or difference of any kind — is welcomed, included, and cherished.

Inclusive environments

Inclusion is promoted through an environment that empowers everyone to fully participate as their authentic self.

Our pillars

WeWork’s inclusion efforts are grounded in four pillars.

Attraction
Attracting and making people from all backgrounds feel welcome at WeWork.

Advancement
Establishing processes and taking deliberate actions that drive the growth and success of our workforce.

Engagement
Proactively creating dialogues, forums, and resources about inclusion, empathy, and education in order to help foster a culture of conversation.

Development
Delivering meaningful and relevant training and development programs to help increase understanding.

Employee community groups

WeWork’s Employee Community Groups (ECGs) began as grassroots efforts that have become core to our culture. They bring our communities around the world closer together to celebrate unique lived experiences. These employee-led groups serve as a resource for team members by helping foster an inclusive workplace aligned with WeWork’s mission, values, goals, and objectives.
