Yes, all WeWork public, common, and non-office spaces are recorded through CCTV, 24/7. CCTV is not actively monitored and is only viewed if there is a security incident.
If an incident occurs and footage needs to be obtained, WeWork’s Security team will do its best to provide the necessary footage to local law enforcement. If approved, Community Managers will review the footage with the primary Member or someone who has been designated by the primary Member.
Cameras are only installed in hallways, common areas, and other major access points. WeWork never installs cameras in offices or conference rooms.
Yes. Enterprise Members can install a VMS but cameras must be within the Member’s office or dedicated areas. Moreover, dedicated cameras cannot capture other WeWork Members or their workspaces. Please note, there may be a charge for this service if the cameras are using WeWork’s Internet Service Provider or IT closet space.*
All WeWork guests check into Welkio, WeWork’s guest management system. Welkio facilitates an easy-to-use guest check-in that automatically notifies hosts of guest arrival. Guests will need to provide a government ID or passport to check in.
Yes, each WeWork location has a building-specific emergency action plan. A hard copy can be found at the WeWork reception desk or on the Building Guide page of the WeWork Member Network.
WeWork locations provide backup ISP and high availability firewalls.
There are Security Officers at the building entrance and/or exit of certain locations. If a large event is being held in a Member’s space outside of typical business hours (9am- 6pm), Members can work with the Community team to coordinate Security Officers for the event.
