New York, NY, February 2, 2022 – Contentsquare, the global leader in digital experience analytics, and WeWork, one of the leading global flexible space providers, today announced that Contentsquare has signed a 36-month lease for 30,000 square feet of dedicated space at WeWork 53 Beach in New York City.
The deal marks an expansion of Contentsquare’s presence in New York and serves as home base to 110 employees as the company looks to expand its presence in New York as part of their commitment to 1,500 new hires. In May 2021, Contentsquare completed a $500 million Series E funding round, enabling its continued growth and international expansion in key markets including New York.
“As Contentsquare moves toward a more flexible and hybrid approach to work, coming together in person to collaborate and build community will remain an important part of the company’s future,” said Celia Dorr, Chief People Officer, Contentsquare. “As the company continues to grow, it’s important to us to provide our team with a great, flexible place to work. The WeWork space allows us to provide ample space for independent work and team work in a beautiful space that supports their productivity and preferred work styles. Be it our central HQ here in Tribeca or a Contentsquare satellite location, our employees and culture can continue to thrive in a wonderful office environment.”
As part of the deal, Contentsquare and WeWork partnered to tailor four full floors with custom designs that meet the needs of its dynamic, growing workforce and hybrid work model. The 53 Beach location includes unique Contentsquare branding throughout the building as well as access to private outdoor space. The space will also include common areas and shared spaces within the building, including lounge spaces, reading nooks, phone booths for private calls, conference rooms and more.
Through the partnership, Contentsquare employees can not only leverage its space at WeWork 53 Beach, but also have access to WeWork’s entire portfolio of more than 700 locations across the globe – including the Contentsquare headquarters in Paris – to access space wherever is most convenient to them. New York City marks Contentsquare’s fifth market expansion with WeWork, having previously also signed in Paris, Singapore, San Francisco, and Barcelona.
“Our work with Contentsquare is indicative of the demand for flexibility that companies look for when planning the future of their business. With WeWork, Contentsquare has the ability to grow its physical footprint as quickly as they have been able to scale its hypergrowth business, while maintaining a single landlord across multiple markets. We are excited to welcome Contentsquare to the WeWork community in New York with a workspace that is primed for collaboration and connection as they look to support employees with a new way of working,” said Melinda Holland, COO, Americas at WeWork.
