Welcome to WeWork’s 2024 Year in Review. Keep reading to discover all of that and more.

Where our members worked

Across our entire portfolio, London proved to be the leading flex work city. Our flagship location, 10 York Road in Waterloo, repeated its 2023 performance and solidified its position as our most popular location for 2024, globally. Impressively, two other London locations round out our top three most popular locations worldwide: 123 Buckingham Palace Road and Moor Place. Each location provides a distinctive experience that ensures our members can enjoy a productive and rewarding day at work:

  • 10 York Road is our flagship location, and features first-class design, extensive wellness and fitness amenities – including a meditation room, its very own restaurant, as well as a roof terrace that offers stunning views of London’s skyline—overlooking the Houses of Parliaments and Thames river.
  • 123 Buckingham Palace Road is located in the heart of Victoria’s vibrant professional community and is walking distance from the bustling Victoria station, unlocking the rest of the city.
  • Moor Place blends thoughtful and functional design with inspiration from Brutalist architecture—thanks to its neighbouring Barbican centre, and features dynamic workspace offerings to create an inspiring environment in London’s financial district.

In the U.S. and Canada, San Francisco joined New York this year as home to our most popular locations, showing how two markets most impacted by the pandemic are roaring back:

  • 154 W 14th Street was designed as a serene retreat in the heart of Manhattan, featuring modern private offices, expansive shared lounges, and flexible meeting rooms.
  • 33 Irving Place provides a central office location just steps from Union Square, offering great access to restaurants, cafes, stores, and multiple transit options.
  • Salesforce Tower is a premier location with one-of-a-kind spaces and sweeping city views that can’t be beat, becoming a hub for major tech companies and booming startups alike.

Who came to our spaces

2024 was an exceptional year for WeWork. We welcomed over 15 million total unique visitors to our locations worldwide—more than one and a half times the population of London, and enough to fill every NFL stadium in the U.S. eight times over. That’s an average of 25,000 unique visitors per WeWork location, marking a 12% increase over last year.

Coming to our workspaces is all about collaboration, and our members really doubled down on that this year. In total, WeWork members brought 1.1 million guests into our spaces in 2024; a prime indication that workspaces foster collaboration. To put this into perspective: that’s nearly double the number of people who attend Roland-Garros each year, and enough to pack Wembley Stadium twelve times over.

People aren’t the only ones welcomed into our workspaces—we love having our four-legged friends come to work with us. This year, we had 730 dogs (and one cat!) regularly come to our workspaces. That averages out to about one dog per location, so keep an eye out for a furry friend at your WeWork.

What amenities and services our members used

In 2024, our members emphasized that amenities are just as important as beautifully designed workspaces—not only for time-saving, but well-being and comfort too.

Like millions across the globe, every day our members arrive at the office and are looking to fuel their work day with coffee. In 2024, our members drank over 13 million cups of complimentary WeWork coffee worldwide, enough to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool. 4.5 million cups were served at WeWork locations in the United States alone, highlighting the country’s (and our member’s!) passion for caffeine.

Our mail and package services support companies of all sizes. This year alone, we processed 338,000 packages, which is the equivalent to filling nearly 7 airplanes. Many of those packages are from our WeWork Business Address product, which offers members virtual office services, including mail and package handling, at 175+ WeWork locations.

How our community came together

As we’ve seen with the impressive statistics around the number of guests coming into our spaces, it’s clear that WeWork isn’t just an office—it’s a community.

In 2024, we hosted 56,010 events, an average of over 90 events per individual WeWork location and nearly two events per week at each location! From brunches and happy hours to holiday parties, WeWork offered a variety of activities for members to enjoy and look forward to at their office. One of our standout events was a summer celebration in Denver, which included a ski waxing service, tacos, and popsicles!

Our networking events have become signature to our WeWork experience, and are often the deciding factor for members when joining our community. This year we hosted almost 1,000 networking events, enabling our members to build meaningful connections with like-minded individuals, learn and share knowledge, as well as explore partnership opportunities to fuel business growth.

Everyday at WeWork is an experience, and our commitment to building a global—and local—community has made the office a ‘destination’ where workers want to be.

What’s next at WeWork

This year has been an exciting one for our members. They enjoyed access to our most popular spaces, brought many associates to our locations, attended countless events, and, of course, drank plenty of coffee (This is unlikely to stop any time soon)!

So, what’s next? 2025 will be a year of new and exciting opportunities for our members, offering them more spaces, places, and ways to do their best work. We’ll expand our footprint to new locations and cities, we’ll enhance our hospitality-driven events and experiences to further unite our community, and continue to innovate our offerings to better support all the ways our members work.
