We are committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. If you are having difficulty accessing any part of our website, please contact us for assistance at accessibility@wework.com. We welcome your suggestions and comments as we engage in ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility and usability of our website.
WeWork Canada GP ULC and all its subsidiaries (“WeWork”) recognizes the importance of accessibility as a fundamental right for all individuals, including those with disabilities. WeWork believes in the principle of equal access to all services (including WeWork office space) and opportunities, and seeks to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all.
If you have feedback regarding WeWork’s accessibility efforts, please reach out to us by emailing accessibility@wework.com, by calling the relevant number in your location as set out here https://help.wework.com/s/article/en-us-articles-211496006-Does-WeWork-have-an-emergency-call-center?lang uage=en_US or by speaking to our Community Team in person at one of our WeWork locations. Individuals may submit feedback anonymously. WeWork’s feedback process will take a person’s disability into account by permitting more than one way to provide feedback, whether in person, by telephone, in writing or by email. Where an individual asks WeWork to receive and respond to feedback using alternate formats or accessible communication supports, WeWork will consult with the individual to determine a suitable method of communication. Employees and customers are invited to provide their feedback.
WeWork aims to gather insights from its members, vendors, employees and third parties, especially those with disabilities. This feedback will help us identify and address any barriers or challenges that may exist in accessing WeWork’s physical spaces or ancillary services. It allows us to better understand the specific needs and concerns of individuals with disabilities, enabling us to make informed decisions to improve accessibility.
Additionally, WeWork understands that accessibility is an ongoing process and, so as to continuously improve this, the feedback we receive will help us to measure and identify areas that need improvement, and develop strategies to enhance accessibility in our spaces, websites and other communication channels.
Furthermore, WeWork recognizes that inclusivity and accessibility are opportunities for growth and innovation. By seeking feedback, we can gain valuable insights to develop new ideas and services that better cater to a diverse base.
When feedback is provided, the following information is helpful:
Time and date
Description of interaction, suggestion or complaint
Additional comments
Contact information (if the person wishes to hear further in this matter)
Preferred alternate format or accessible communication support (as applicable).
Responding To Feedback
All feedback will be treated confidentially. If the matter cannot be resolved immediately, WeWork will maintain a record of the feedback for future action. WeWork will acknowledge all feedback promptly. We will follow up with any required action within a reasonable timeframe.
The following key objectives for company business processes and activities help ensure WeWork products and services benefit the disabled community:
Increase awareness of accessibility within WeWork;
Develop and apply policies and guidelines to evaluate accessibility; and
Evaluate accessibility and usability in our spaces.
Principles
This accessibility plan was prepared while taking into account the following principles:
all persons must be treated with dignity regardless of their disabilities;
all persons must have the same opportunity to make for themselves the lives that they are able and wish to have regardless of their disabilities;
all persons must have barrier-free access to full and equal participation in society, regardless of their disabilities;
all persons must have meaningful options and be free to make their own choices, with support if they desire, regardless of their disabilities;
laws, policies, programs, services and structures must take into account the disabilities of persons, the different ways that persons interact with their environments and the multiple and intersecting forms of marginalization and discrimination faced by persons;
persons with disabilities must be involved in the development and design of laws, policies, programs, services and structures; and
the development and revision of accessibility standards and the making of regulations must be done with the objective of achieving the highest level of accessibility for persons with disabilities.
